What we do

Infrastructure built for African rails

Lumifrik builds infrastructure in four areas: banking technology, trust and identity, digital markets, and sovereign digital services. Each product is built for African payment rails and regulators, and can be hosted in-country.

Products

Banking technology

Lumifrik Banking Platform

A complete digital banking platform that runs every bank in the Lumifrik Banking Group and can be licensed to partner banks.

  • Core banking, accounts, savings and lending, with mobile and internet banking
  • Digital onboarding with e-KYC, wallets and QR payments
  • Agency banking for reach beyond the branch network
  • Trade finance: documentary credits, guarantees and import-export financing
  • Support for non-interest (participatory) banking products, including interbank wakala
  • One code base, configured per regulator, per currency and per market
Non-interest banking

Horizon Non-Interest Banking Suite

A complete technology suite for non-interest (participatory) banks: a core banking platform, the Horizon mobile banking app for customers, and Horizon Ops for bank staff.

  • Transaction accounts based on Qard and Wadiah
  • Investment accounts with Mudarabah profit sharing
  • Financing through Murabaha, Ijarah (leasing) and Kafalah (guarantees)
  • Built-in controls for charity and Zakat payments
  • Payments, cards and agent banking
  • Horizon Ops: maker-checker approvals, compliance, reconciliation and audit for bank staff
  • Deployed as a dedicated instance for each bank, within its own regulatory zone
Trust and identity

Trust Layer

Transaction trust infrastructure for banks, mobile money operators, remittance companies and payment providers.

  • One API call returns a decision (approve, review or block), a risk score and reason codes in under 150 milliseconds
  • A tamper-evident Trust Receipt for every transaction: decision, policy version, risk signals, sanctions and PEP checks, and settlement status, secured by a cryptographic hash
  • 18 configurable risk signals designed for African rails, including SIM swap, agent anomalies, USSD, KYC tier and corridor risk
  • Transparent rules that institutions set and regulators can read, with no black-box scoring
  • Automatic reconciliation of settlement events, with exceptions routed to case management
  • Works alongside existing core banking, switch and KYC systems
Trust and identity

Trust ID

Sovereign digital identity to authenticate and protect citizens and economic actors.

  • Unique digital identifier linked to strong authentication
  • Biometric identity cards that can carry a banking or payment function
  • Identity-linked public services and payments
Sovereign digital services

Cyber Battlefield

Cybersecurity for critical systems: detection, simulation and response.

  • Threat detection and response, with real-time monitoring
  • Attack simulation and training for security teams
  • Security audits and hardening for banks and public institutions
Digital markets

Real-asset tokenization

A platform under Lumifrik Capital for issuing and managing digital, fractional records of real assets: bonds and sukuk, funds, equities, commodity receipts, gold and real estate.

Compliance rules can be configured to the requirements of each regulator, including the BCEAO.
